Maria Kumanova creates handmade Bysantine mosaics based on Crete’s traditional style. An ancient style of work and creation of life-long piece of art. 

All Bysantine mosaics made by Maria Kumanova have been grafted only with Italian materials, including Venetian "smalti" glass with 24 carat gold cover, directly from one of the oldest producers of mosaic stones - Orsoni.
